The locale is opening October 6th in vShops, the city’s all-vegan food hall.
It’s the sixth concept to be introduced in vShops, following Southern Sol Garden BBQ (vegan soul food), Choices Cafe (vegan wraps, salads, and burgers), Neo’s Blender (smoothies), Next Generation Pizza (vegan pizza), and Ice Dream Parlor (vegan ice cream).
“It will be a coffee and tea shop serving high quality organic speciality lattes, mochas, espresso, coffees, and teas, made with dairy free milks of course,” says vShops president Lori Zito.
Specialty menu items include the San Diego Beach Buzz latte with espresso, sweet caramel, hazelnut infusion, and coarse sea salt; the LA Star latte with matcha green tea, vanilla infusion, and cinnamon dusting; and the Buffalo Snowstorm mocha with espresso, peppermint infusion, and smooth dark chocolate — along with the traditional array of coffee drinks.
Plus, Morning Glory will feature loose leaf teas in glass canisters so customers can smell and pick their flavors, and even mix and match. Teas will be served with individual infusers and a mug of hot water.
The team always planned to open a coffee spot so customers could pair custom beverages with the breakfast items offered at Choices Cafe (and soon to be offered from other vendors, too).
Since its opening in April of this year, the vShops has seen massive success. As the world’s first all-vegan food hall, it’s a groundbreaking effort, and customers have been flocking to the spot for pizza, BBQ “meats”, burgers, ice cream, and even beer.
