For those eschewing gelatin, marshmallows are a no-no—a sad situation for lovers of s’mores. But thanks to Dandies, vegan marshmallows are easily available these days.

Now, the popular brand is taking the marshmallow game to another level: this fall, the company is releasing pumpkin-flavored ‘mallows.

The new variety, scheduled to launch this October, is made with natural pumpkin flavor—everyone’s favorite fall spice.

“It was time to add some pumpkin flavored fun to our popular Dandies line,” said Dan Reed, Marketing Director for Chicago Vegan Foods in a press release. “Air puffed to have a traditional light and fluffy texture, our marshmallows are perfect for bringing delectable, comfort food sweetness to the fall season. Though Dandies are completely free of gelatin and high fructose corn syrup, these marshmallows melt and taste just like the marshmallows we grew up with as a kid!”

The marshmallows will be available from October to December at natural foods stores across the U.S., Canada and some international markets. The suggested retail price is $5.29 for a 10 oz package. You can follow Dandies on Facebook for updates.

Don’t forget about Sweet and Sara. Both are great, Dandies are the American style and Sweet and Sara is more of the European type, denser. Depends on the application needs.

  2. Looking forward to these! Love the colour, and what a great idea too, pumpkin + marshmellows. 🙂
