Natural Products Expo West Is This Weekend and All the Vegan Brands Are There

If you’re not at Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, Calif. this weekend, you’re probably following a lengthy list of Facebook, Instagram and Twitter users who are. This annual event is a massive conglomeration of all things plant based and au naturale. Everybody who’s anybody in the vegan universe is at the sprawling forum.

natural-productsThe exhibitor list seems to go on forever, and includes every organization from 22 Days Nutrition to Annie’s to Beyond Meat to Miyoko’s Kitchen. Basically any plant-based brand you can think of is in attendance.

In addition to vendor sampling, the Expo West schedule is jam packed with learning summits and seminars on topics like working with journalists, vegan market research, the power of the internet and many more. There’s also yoga, book signings, networking events, live music and all kinds of other activities.

Vegan celebrities and personalities are on site, too, including Colleen Patrick-Goudreau, Eco Vegan Gal aka Whitney Lauritsen, Carolyn Scott Hamilton and lots of others.

The weekend is sure to see lots of product debuts and unveilings, so stay tuned for lots of recaps in the next couple of days. Already, Rickland Organics has announced its new CLVR™ Bars line, Pirate’s Booty has announced its new carrot snacks, Enjoy Life Foods has announced its new gluten-free baking mix line, Against The Grain has announced its new grain-free pita bread and Tofurky has announced its new slow-roasted chick’n products—just to name a few.

Needless to say, this Expo West is a big deal. If you want to follow all the action, stick to the #ExpoWest hashtag. And if you’ve got a bad case of Expo envy, now’s the time to start planning for next year (or, get ready for Expo East).
