Sometimes, you just need a little dip in your life — because that extra flavor makes veggies even more exciting. For vegans though, the choices are traditionally limited to hummus and, well, hummus.

Go Veggie Foods, however, long-term purveyors of plant-based products, has just released a mini-version of their chive and garlic vegan cream cheese.

The new snacks are currently rolling out to mainstream grocers nationwide.

“Snacking is a $124 billion category and growing! We’re targeting the 180 million health-conscious consumers who are grazing, shifting from eating less traditional meals and using healthy snacks to fill the gap,” says Allison Houle, Marketing Manager for Go Veggie Foods.

“Go Veggie has been winning awards for our cream cheese taste and texture since we created the category over 40 years ago. So we took that proprietary technology and went … well, ‘small.'”

The only mini cream cheese spread on the market, the diminutive containers should come in handy for on-the-go eating.

“With rich, creamy flavor and spreadability, Go Veggie Minis are the only vegan, plant-based substitute for traditional spreads and dips,” Houle adds.

The vegan cream cheese snacks are made from non-GMO ingredients including coconut, and are 100 calories per pod. Go Veggie products are in either the produce, dairy, or natural section depending on the supermarket. Currently, the minis are available at Publix, ShopRite, H-E-B and Safeway. You can search for locations at GoVeggieFoods.com.
