Vegan Vodka, Marinara and Alfredo Sauces Rolling Out to More Grocers

victoria-vegan-vodkaWhile Italian food is usually heavy on the meat and dairy, companies (and chefs like Chloe Coscarelli) have shown that it’s entirely possible to re-create traditional favorites with vegan ingredients.

Now, Victoria Fine Foods is in the process of re-positioning its Victoria Vegan line, which includes dairy-free alfredo sauce, vodka sauce, marinara sauce and more.

The company makes its products utilizing small-batch production methods, slow kettle cooking the sauces using fresh ingredients. Victoria also doesn’t add water, sugar, paste (tomato byproducts), preservatives or dried ingredients.

All products in the line are also non-GMO project verified.

“Several people on our team personally had had diets that restricted their ability to have our conventional Alfredo and Vodka sauces, and we began to notice comments from consumers that there was nothing like this available,” Don Davide of Victoria Fine Foods, tells Latest Vegan News of the company’s decision to launch a vegan pasta sauce line.

Vegan fettucine alfredo is now officially an option. Take that, Olive Garden.

The vegan sauces are available at Whole Foods, Sprouts, many independent retailers and coming soon to Stop and Shop.

It’s HEART BREAKING & SICKENING TO see how much meat from animals killed goes into the trash at Walmart and Kroger every day! THEY WERE KILLED TO EAT YET NO ONE BOUGHT IT SO THEIR DEATH WAS IN VAIN. THEY DON’T CARE TO EVEN DONATE BUT SEE NO HARM IN TRASHING THESE POOR ANIMALS…it’s ALL ABOUT THEIR GREED!

It’s definitely heartbreaking Laney, but luckily there are a lot of people working towards positive change, and a lot of amazing vegan products that are taking animals out of the equation. Take heart! The world is changing, though admittedly more slowly than most of us would like.
