Popcorn is always a crowd-pleaser, but many of the usual store-bought brands are doused in butter and cheese. Not LesserEvil’s new vegan popcorn, however. The conscientious company is dedicated to flavorful, healthy snacks, and it’s just released a new addition to its lineup: Buddha Bowl Bonsai (aka wasabi popcorn).

The air-popped product is sprinkled with organic coconut oil, Himalayan pink salt, and organic wasabi flavoring. It’s non-GMO verified, kosher, gluten-free and free from animal products.

“We wanted to create a more complex favor to add to our family of Buddha Bowl organic popcorns, yet sticking to the mantra of simple and nutritious. Wasabi seemed a perfect fit with a bold flavor, yet tame enough to be enjoyed by all,” owner and CEO, Charles Coristine told Latest Vegan News.

“Bonsai is just launching now, but will be available at Wegman’s, Mother’s Markets, New Leaf Community Markets and other select retailers nationally. You’ll probably see it coming to shelf a bit more end of summer into the autumn months,” Coristine added.
