VeganSmart Launches Free Brunch Series in Major U.S. Cities
Everyone loves brunch—vegans included. And although plant-based breakfast/lunch mash-ups can be hard to come by, VeganSmart is breaking the mold with a free, multi-city all-star brunch tour.
The company, maker of all-in-one nutritional shakes, has hosted two events thus far, and a third is coming up in NYC. The events include music, celeb attendees and plenty of vegan eats.
The first brunch was held in Miami in May, and the second kicked off in Los Angeles last Sunday. Both were hosted by Bad Ass Vegan John Lewis. The next brunch will take place in NYC in September.
The LA event, held last weekend, was attended by over 300 people. Hosted in a warehouse in downtown, it featured vegan sliders, quesadillas, cheesecake, lychee, ice cream, fruit kabobs, Bloody Marys and mimosas.
The events are all free, but RSVP is required. (Keep an eye on VeganSmart’s social channels for updates: @livevegansmart on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.)
Owned by parent company Naturade, VeganSmart is all about spreading a healthy, vegan lifestyle, and the brunches are a way to showcase the fun and delicious side of herbivorous living.
“We at Naturade believe that the world is headed in a catastrophically unhealthy direction,” says Naturade CMO Kareem Cook on why the company decided to host the brunches. “We are dedicated to offering healthy alternatives and bringing our products to the communities that need them the most. Whether you are vegan, or are just trying to eat a more healthy diet, VeganSmart is for you.”
