The influence of Forks Over Knives is hard to ignore. Since its creation in 2011, it’s often been described as a “vegan maker.” The film has inspired countless transformations and helped bring a whole foods, plant-based lifestyle into mainstream healthcare conversations.

Now, the FOK organization has launched a new arm of its efforts: a meal delivery service dubbed Forks Fresh Meals.

“More than anything, we want people to be healthy and and happy,” Brian Wendel, the president and founder of Forks Over Knives tells Latest Vegan News. “We often hear how finding great-tasting, healthy food is often challenging to come by for people, especially those with busy schedules. We created Forks Fresh Meals to serve as a way to make a whole-food, plant-based lifestyle easy, delicious, and super-convenient. Having this service allows us to bring a healthier lifestyle to a greater number of people.”

Customers can choose from three options for plant-based meal delivery on a weekly basis: 5 meals ($109 per person, per week), 10 meals ($169 per person per week), or 15 meals ($209 per person per week), and they’re customized to personal preferences and delivered via Fedex.

For now, the service delivers to the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, but will be extended in the future.

“We are working to expand the delivery range of our Philadelphia facility to cover more of the east coast and Mid-Atlantic states,” says Wendel. “We anticipate a west coast operation shortly after the new year.”

The menu is developed by FOK’s culinary project director and chef, Darshana Thacker, who is also responsible for many of the recipes from the FOK books and website. “Our talented on-site chef Chris Allen prepares the meals and makes sure every dish tastes great and travels well,” adds Wendel.

Selections vary based on seasonality and such, but item examples include garlic hash browns with kale; corn and black bean cakes; three bean chili; Tex-mex casserole; cranberry orange pumpkin muffins, and lots of other options.

You can sign up for the delicious delivery via ForksOverKnives.com/ForksFreshMeals.

I must be too slow with my words. I have to say things all over again! –and that is not easy for me! (had an aneurysm 40 years ago! –and am proud that I am still here! 😉

I was just in here trying to find out more about your meals, but where I was, it wouldn’t let me get in without a password, but they told me that I didn’t have one.

But now I found more about it this way and I love the idea that you are going to have your meal service soon where I live in the northwest (Dallas, Oregon) So, let me know when you are going to be able to do it. I love this idea!
